Hello! well, about a few weeks ago my parents bought me a Wii for both me and my sisters to play. though, my dad said it was for exercise (since i rarely go outside), I mostly play Super Smash Bros. Brawl. So that's what I'm gonna talk about. I know I'm slow as it is but I've never played it before I got a Wii. I thought the game itself was well my favorite of all games right now. I'm still a long way of finishing it but I'll try to beat every single modes.

Now, remember Toy Story? i do. If anyone forgets, It's basically about Toys that are secretly alive. kinda like Night at The Museum but no one ever finds out and the toys can be out in the sun and such. Apparently Pixar's gonna release another Toy Story movie called Toy Story 3 . The plot takes somewhere in the future, where Andy's going to attend to college. Woody and Friends are donated to a Day-Care center. The original movie was going to be created by Disney own studio, Circle 7 Animation, but due to the animation studio shut down, the movie was halt until now it's back to being good ol' Pixar. I'm sorry I haven't updated my blog! I've been busy and the server was down for awhile so, y'know.

My cousin and I started lots of project in the past. this includes: video games, sites and comic books. This we'll try to work this out. We're going to make online comic strips calling Random Panels hosted on DeviantArt. We'll launch it, once i could get a hold of my scanner. also, We'll go by the name Random Ink (or Random Inkorporated, pun intended). which I'll also launch a comic book called Myth but this will be launch SmackJeeves so it won't cause any confusion.

I want to talk about retro things. they're cute and retro music is great it without any kind of cursing of any sort! this also makes me ponder why my generation prefers songs like 'emo' or 'goth' and get rid of the old toys. is it me or song these days that are "popular" are (i'll say this bluntly) fucked up? anywho i think people should try and dig up those cute old toy robots and listen to Count Basie for a few times, it wouldn't hurt!

Recently, Michael Joseph Jackson, one of the most amazing singers from the 70s and onwards had past on. to be honest I'm really sad because, other than the Beatles, i grew up listening to his song... good bye Michael Jackson, may god send you to beginning of your paradise instead of suffering... just for the memory, i would like to show you a video of one of my favorite songs of his and his brothers;

to be honest, i always thought that legend lived forever like the Beatles, Elvis and others even though they died and/or withered they'll always be remembered in the good ol' days....

i should really star with the other topics.. uhh....i recently watch Superman: Doomsday yesterday. i thought it was pretty cool. though i thought using the old Superman: the Animated series design better, also; using the old voice cast because i loved Dana Delany as Lois Lane. as for the plot, i would say it was kinda fast paced, and the fact the part of the 'Supermen' clones were changed into just one Superman clone that's a hybrid of Eradicator, Superboy, and Cyborg Superman. Bruce Timm and the Usual crew did a good job for the series but I'm curious why they didn't use Steel, Cyborg Superman, and Eradicator. as far as I know, only Superboy has copyrights not to appear due to his 'name' (read here).

yesterday, my mother went to Malaysia to finalized my sister's papers for her graduations, she'll be back by either Sunday or Monday.

by the afternoon, my Teacher phoned my Dad that i haven't got a photo for my report card which is weird since i already give it to my Teacher 8 months ago. so basically me and my Dad went to a local photo studio at the mall.

after we're done with the photos, we went to a Japanese restaurant the reason was simple: it had a 50% discount for the bank my father uses. so this is what happened

Waiter: "Good evening, What'll be?"
Dad: "Do we get everything on 50% discount?"
Waiter: "You need to order at a amount at least Rp300.000. May I recommend the Wagyu Shabu-Shabu?"
Dad: "very well, the wagyu shabu-shabu, please."
Waiter: "and the drinks?"
Dad: "Green Tea for me, and-" then Dad turns to me "what'll you want?"
Me: "Ice Lemon Tea, please."
Waiter: "Alright, the Shabu-Shabu will be ready in a few minutes"
Me: "wait, so how much that sums up more or less than Rp300.000?"

before i go on, you could tell me and Dad are a bunch of cheapskates when money and food are involved. also, Shabu-Shabu is like Sukiyaki but the sauce is less sweet. minutes later, the Waiter brought the meat, vegetables, pot and drinks. Dad and I, well we aren't exactly geniuses when it comes to cooking we usually ask mom.

Me: checks pot and turns to Dad "is it done yet?"
Dad: "i don't know, your a girl shouldn't you know how to cook?"
Me: "i don't think it's done yet, it's not that brown yet."

then, well, we made a huge mess. i got some water on my pants, Dad accidentally drop one of the meats. so yeah, it was chaos without mom. it's a wonder why we weren't kicked out.
a moment later, things went back to peace. I didn't like the mushroom so put it on the prep plate by accident even though the mushroom was overcooked. then, well he put it on the pot like the picture below:

Me: "Wait, that was overcooked!"
Dad: "but it was on the prep table!"
Me: "i put it there by accident!"

my Dad just shrugged and ate it. disgusting. so finally we paid the bill and went to the car and we had a small conversation.

Dad: "y'know, I think i know why that place had a 50% discount."
Me: "Why?"
Dad: "The Meat wasn't good at all"
Me: "y'know, i think you're right, Dad. the only thing that was good was the noodles"

so that's just about it. Mom's away, Sister's in Malaysia, Other Sister's comes home at an ungodly hours of the morning and who was left was usually Dad. the moral of this story? never went to a Sukiyaki/Shabu-Shabu/anything involving do-it-yourself restaurant with someone who has littler knowledge of cooking, if you don't know it yourself.
